Volunteers who would like to assist on the ice during team practices are welcome, but require certification and rostering as volunteers in order to be covered by the Hockey Canada insurance program. Volunteers must be at least two years older than the age limit of the division in which they are volunteering.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers 14 years and older are eligible to wear the same equipment as on-ice team officials: CSA certified helmet, skates, gloves.
Volunteers younger than 14 years are required to wear full player equipment including neck and mouth guard. Helmet straps must be firmly attached at all times while on the ice.
