Skills Development Program
Hockey Canada recently published some research findings stating that it takes 11 games for a child to learn what they learn in a single practice. With this in mind we are proud to again be offering the MDMHA Skills Development Program.
The Skills Development Program is an optional program that can be thought of as a once-a-week hockey school that runs all season long. The intent is to provide an extra 50 minutes of ice time each week dedicated strictly to the development of hockey fundamentals. Other than a two-week break at Christmas, the Skills Development Program will run for the entire season (approx. 20 weeks).
Runs Thursday's starting Sept. 24, 2009 until Feb. 18,
2010
(schedule is tentative based on registered numbers)
| 6:00 - 7:00 pm | Mytes, Tyke 1 (birth year 2003) | |

Our hockey volunteers have been fantastic in getting this program off the
ground. We always welcome more helpers on the ice and would welcome (and
appreciate) anyone else who would like to jump in and help out.
The cost of the Skills Development Program for 2009/2010 is $75 per child - an incredible bargain for 20 sessions of instruction!
